Wild Thing is on the Loose!
Successful day picking up wild thing, but it’s going to be a short post tonight. I’m exhausted! Orientation started at 8 a.m. but of course I was there at 7:30. 2 hours of wonderful instruction on the operation of everything about this trailer followed by lessons on how to hook up and unhook and level the trailer. I settled all the final financial details then was on my way to the Border by 11 a.m. Randy had wild thing hooked to his truck to import it and I was to meet him on the other side of the Border. He scooted right through, but I had to wait in line for an hour and 45 minutes! Nail biting! Finally I made it across the border and took possession of Wild Thing and got her hooked up to the big red truck! I found an empty church parking lot and did a few turns and a couple of backups to get used to the feel and then I was on my way to Bothell Washington 2 hours away. It was heavy city traffic driving I made it in just over two hours and I’m all settled in for the night. My campsite was a level pull through so that made things easier. I have the big three water sewer and electric hooked up. Now it’s time to head to the grocery store and get some food and start unpacking. More details tomorrow!
