Rainy Day Knitting, Best Buddies, Camper Parts Delivery
Another rainy day meant I was able to finish the little hat I started knitting yesterday. It worked up quickly and I like how it came out.
Dexter was happy to sleep most of the day but when my son Owen got home from work, he enjoyed a good wrestle and a snuggle with his best buddy.
The parts needed to fix Wild Thing arrived today from the factory in Chilliwack BC: a light for the license plate, a red tail light, and some paint for the gel coat. I’ll deliver these items to Hazard Marine tomorrow and hopefully this will help expedite the repair.
I’ll be so happy to get Wild Thing home so I can begin packing for the next trip. I plan to leave just after Thanksgiving and head for Tucson, AZ. I’m starting to map out my route and have one confirmed stop along the way to visit my DH’s sister and her family in Tulsa, OK. The Jones Family is always so much fun and I’m so looking forward to spending a few days with them! I’m scoping out campgrounds in the Tulsa, OK area, so let me know if you have any recommendations!
