A Perfect Fall Day, A Walk in the Woods, and Date Night
I was happy to see the sun today. After driving to the repair shop and dropping off the parts for Wild Thing, Dexter and I enjoyed a nice long walk in the woods under a robin’s egg blue sky. I enjoyed seeing the variety of colorful leaves scattered on the ground like confetti after a party, listening to the honking of Canadian geese heading south, and smelling the warm damp earth blanketed with pine needles. The air was cool and the humidity low. It was a perfect fall day.
Tonight was “Date Night” and Steve and I enjoyed a lovely meal at Stone’s Public House, a local “haunt” that has great food and a long history of paranormal activity. It’s reputed to have more Spirits in front of the bar then behind it!
