More Challenges

I finished the bulk of my packing and loading the camper this morning. It was pouring rain but the job needed to be done. Only two more days until I leave. I continue to be impressed with this trailer and today was amazed to find just how much storage space I really have. I’ve been watching the piles of craft supplies grow and was a bit concerned about whether it would all fit. Not only did it fit, there was room to spare! Feeling pleased with the mornings work I headed out to my appointment for new tires at National Tire and Battery. I arrive 20 minutes early, at 2:40 in the afternoon. I was still there at 6:30 pm waiting for the job to be done and after texting my DH that I would be late, he showed up in person in the hopes of hurrying the job along. This store just seems to be in a bad way, short-staffed and at one point one of the few mechanics just left without notifying anyone! What a mess! Steve sent me home, where I worked on laundry and putting the house in order. Steve finally arrived home at 8:30, the store closed at 8! The tires were on but they did not replace the sensors stating that they did not have the right size part, and so the tire pressure sensor light is on in the truck. I’ll have to figure something out in the next two days to try to get that resolved. I certainly won’t try going back to NTB after that frustrating experience. Tomorrow evening is our Thanksgiving celebration so I’ll try to get it fixed in the morning but will have to give up mid-day to come home and cook some turkey! I still have Saturday to try to get things accomplished. The worst case scenario is that I have to put up with the tire pressure sensor light staying on. Oh well, just a few more stones…

We’ve had a similar experience with NTB also.

Joan, we have used them for years without an issue but they seem to have gone downhill fast.
