Morning Walk, Real Estate Tour, Wine Tasting
Dexter and I slept late this morning, until 8! I’ve been going pretty hard every day and needed a good rest. My neck is still bothering me so I think I’m going to have to break down and find a chiropractor on Monday. We went out for a nice long walk up a dirt road that runs behind the campground and enjoyed the views.
Just for grins and giggles, I decided to check out on a house that was for sale in the area. This houses in a gated community and was listed as an open house, but when I got there I couldn’t get in the gate! The real estate agent met me at the house and showed me around. It was interesting to see what you can get for your dollar in Cornville Arizona. This house had an open one-story floor plan, two large bedrooms, an office / den, a huge garage with a floor you could eat off, and no outside maintenance since the landscaping was all stone. This development has a golf course running through it and is a quiet community away from the frey still close to shopping and only 15 miles from Sedona! Steve and I are quite a ways away from moving anywhere different but it’s interesting to look and think about the future.
I had a few more Christmas gifts to pick up so I drove over to Old Cottonwood where I found a nice tasting room called Merkin Vineyards. I enjoyed a nice light meal of bruschetta, a wine tasting local red wines, and prickly pear pancetta for dessert! Yummy!
Funny how my neck felt better after the wine tasting!
