Last day at City of Rocks

Dexter and I enjoyed a quiet day, our last here at City of Rocks before moving on tomorrow to Leasburg Dam. We spent a considerable amount of time wandering through the rocks and enjoying the landscape. I started working on another illustration today. This little guy has quite a ways to go but he’s got a good beginning.

My propane detector went off this afternoon. This is the second time it’s happened in the past week. I’ve traced the problem to the hot water heater which can run on either propane or electricity. I’ve had it running on propane, and have switched that off. I’ll just run it on electricity until I can have it checked out.

I’ll leave you tonight with another stunning sunset!

Our propane detector goes off just for the heck of it. Charlie installed a toggle type switch to shut it off when the alarm sounds. Then he bought a new one to replace the old unit. And just put it in recently. For the most part it’s worked pretty good. Only went off once since and I think it’s because we had the screen door open and he had the truck running There’s been a thread on the forum if you can check it out and see if there’s any info there.
Love you little guy illustration and the photo is amazing!
    Carry on!!
