In the early evening of June 21, we joined my niece Leslie and Gui and some of their friends,  for a bonfire on the beach at Herring Cove. What fun it was roasting hotdogs and marshmallows for smores!

The sky over the ocean was glorious as we watched a rainstorm move across the water to Race Point Lighthouse.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

  

Soon though, the storm found us and sent us scurrying back to our cars. The downpour lasted only a short time and within a half an hour we were back on the beach enjoying the harbor view of the sunset. More photos of that adventure in my next post!
