I spent the day today working on a new art piece. It’s inspired by my current online lesson but I wanted to go a bit more realistic than the lesson called for so I’m scribbling off into uncharted waters. After spending the morning struggling to sketch this 3/4 view face, I finally got something I was happy with and then was afraid to put paint to it in case I ruined it! Rusty let me use her copier in the RV park office so I could make a couple of photocopies before starting to paint. That freed me up to be a little more experimental with this girl and although she has a ways to go, I’m pleased with how she’s coming along.
