Snowy, Snowy, Night

I was vaguely aware of some weather happening last night while Dexter and I slept comfortably in the camper here in Wilkes Barre, PA. I was a bit surprised at 5:45 a.m. when I got up with Dexter to see the amount of snow that fell!

After taking care of his comfort, we decided to crawl back under the covers for a while.

Things looked a little better around 8 a.m., but we’re still going to take it slow this morning. Winchester Virginia and the Candy Hill Campground is just a half-day drive from here. I have a reservation for an overnight there with full hookups. No rushing today!

I cooked breakfast with eggs, spinach, and shredded parmesan cheese, then topped it with a little fresh picante. Yum! French Press coffee rounded out this meal. I’ve been stress-eating and holiday-eating (sugar and carbs) the last couple of weeks and now I’m ready to get back on track and stay healthy on this journey.

Aren’t these new plates pretty?

I hope it’s warmer in Winchester! Dexter and I would love a long walk.
