It’s a dog’s life! Today Dexter and I did some errands around the camper, then headed into Cottonwood to mail our Christmas packages. It’s a small year for us, but wr mailed a few gifts and cards. The line was long at the post office but everyone was in good holiday cheer so I didn’t mind the wait. Next we drove over to Sedona where I dropped off some yarn that I purchased at the little shop called Sedona Knit Wits where they offered to wind the yarn for me. I’m finding ways to manage without all the tools I normally have at home! These hanks were over 500 yards each of sock weight yarn, so they would have taken quite some time to wind by hand! A late lunch at the 89 Agave Cantina rounded out the afternoon. Dexter approved of the homemade tortilla chips! Yum!!

I have one more day to enjoy in the area before I hitch up and move down to Tucson on Wednesday. Where has the week gone?
I understand that in the Mesa area, at least, you are allowed to take your small dog in restaurants, etc if they are in a little stroller. You might ask around about that. I suppose they don’t want you to leave it in the hot car.

Yes Joan, this area is very pet friendly. Dexter was welcomed at all the shops and at the outside table at the restaurant! He just sat happily on my lap.
